Magic Bus has over 15 years of experience and expertise in using a mentorship model and a sport- and activity-based curriculum to engage with the full range of stakeholders – children, youth, parents and the community-at-large. The method of the intervention and the commitment to outcomes ensures positive change that is both sustainable and owned by the stakeholders.

Sport and activity-based curriculum development
The curriculum can be used and customized to serve different programs, including:

Monitoring & Evaluation
Magic Bus has pioneered result-based monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems in the sector. Consequently, we have the proven capacity to mentor other organizations in setting up their own M&E systems and frameworks oriented towards:
- processes as well as outcomes
- the development of formats
- handholding during the challenges of data collection
- building capacity to use data for a range of organizational purposes
Capacity building training
An experienced team offers training in leadership and mentoring using both the Sport for Development approach and the outdoors as spaces for experiential learning at the Magic Bus Centre, a well-equipped facility at Karjat (near Mumbai). The team uses all of the Centre’s outdoor facilities to create experience-based learning models suited to the partner’s needs:

- The Magic Bus certificate Course in Sport for Development to Universities
- Documentation process training and reporting skills
This is useful for organizations that have no current sport for development capability. Magic Bus mentors an end-to-end process for such organizations, enabling them to incorporate the sport for development approach (Content, Research and Training) into whatever their area of focus is, thus significantly enhancing the quality of their program.
Training of trainers
This is a program for Master Trainers on the Sport for Development approach and methodology. It is an essential capacity building tool to help Training of Trainers (ToT) take the program forward and integrate it according to their needs. Refresher training and monitoring and feedback visits are incorporated for short but intense intervention in the ToT option.
Communication (including media advocacy & social media)
Magic Bus communications training will help you build a strategy, select tools and chart an implementation plan that is best suited to your organizational goals. The training will build participants’ strategy making, planning, writing, online and spokesperson skills, with a special focus on fundraising and advocacy.
